Christie proposes new GOP debate format where only he speaks

In a bold move to improve the Republican primary debates, New Jersey Governor Chris Christie has proposed a new format where only he speaks. In front of a live audience and millions of viewers at home, Christie will have the floor to himself. While the move has been met with some skepticism, many GOP hopefuls are reportedly excited at the prospect of not having to share the stage with their competitors.

According to sources close to the Governor, Christie believes that the current debate format does not allow candidates to fully express themselves. By having the stage to himself, Christie hopes to give a clearer picture of his own ideas and policies. When asked about the possibility of other candidates joining him on stage, Christie famously replied, 'This is my time to shine.'

Critics argue that the proposed format is undemocratic and unfair to other candidates. But Christie remains undeterred. 'I'm tired of these other guys hogging the spotlight,' he stated. 'It's time for a change.' The Governor has not yet announced whether he will allow his opponents to speak during the general election debates, should he secure the nomination.
